FAQs
1. Are you a law firm or solicitors?
No — we are not a firm of solicitors and do not provide reserved legal activities under the Legal Services Act 2007. We provide practical legal guidance, help you understand your rights, and support you in taking the right steps toward resolution.
2. Can you represent me in court?
No — we cannot represent you in court or carry out solicitor-only work. However, we can prepare you with the right knowledge, documents, and strategies so you feel confident taking your case forward. If matters do turn south and litigation is required, we are able to suggest solicitors for you.
3. What types of issues do you help with?
We focus on workplace and contract disputes, including:
- Unpaid wages or invoices
- Breach of contract issues
- Unfair treatment at work
- Contract review and advice
- Negotiation and settlement preparation
4. How much does it cost?
We offer transparent, upfront pricing based on the type and complexity of your issue. In many cases, we can provide an initial consultation at a fixed fee so you know the costs before you commit. In cases where you are owed money as a small business or freelancer you may be able to claim our fees from the person or business that owes you money.
5. How quickly can you help?
Often, we can arrange a same-day or next-day consultation. We understand that disputes can be urgent and aim to get you advice as quickly as possible.
6. Do you offer free advice?
We may provide a brief, free initial chat to understand your situation and explain how we can help. Detailed advice, document reviews, and tailored action plans are charged at our standard rates.
7. Can you help me recover money I’m owed?
Yes — we can advise you on the most effective steps to recover payment, whether it’s unpaid wages, overdue invoices, or other contractual debts. This may include drafting formal letters, guiding you through mediation, or explaining how to escalate your claim.
8. Do you only work with clients in the UK?
Yes — our services are designed for disputes under UK law, and we only advise clients based in the UK or dealing with UK-based contracts/employers.
9. Will my information be kept confidential?
Absolutely. We treat all information you share with us as strictly confidential and comply with UK GDPR requirements.
